Screening von Perdu/Gagné - und mehr

Sirine Fattouh & Émilia Giudicelli

Sirine & Émilia met during a choreographic residency in Beirut last April 2017. Then have followed long conversations, mouvement practices, and walks in the street of Beirut.
Sirine Fattouh is a Lebanese artist born in 1980. Her work, as an artist and researcher, consists of examining the consequences of violence and displacements on people’s identities.
She will present one of the two videos she realised for an installation in 2008, Perdu/Gagné : 100 Lebanese women coming from different socio-cultural contexts as well as different regions within Lebanon were asked two questions: What did you gain? - What did you lose?
Émilia Giudicelli is a choreographer dealing with mouvement as a medium of experience. She recently premiered Routine, a documentation of real time with Fluoressenz and the dance dispositive NU with Yannis Mandafounis.
After the screening, Sirine & Émilia will perform and display the side-effects of their encounter, at the interstice of the Green Line or of Röstigraben.
