DJ Vadim is one of the most bustling figures in the music business. He is DJ, producer, promoter, head of a label, radio host, sometimes he's a painter and a full blooded musician, he's anything except quiet.
DJ Vadim publishes albums regularly either under his own name or as ONE SELF, a project he runs together with his wife Yara Bravo and MC Blu Rum. In between, Vadim finds time for remixes, re-edits and productions for Fat Freddy's Drop, Gang Starr, Prince, Al Green, Ann Peebles and others. The main theme is always hip hop but Vadim incorporates influences of all sorts. His indisputable skills at the turntables make his DJ sets captivating and an explosive mix of hip hop, reggae, sould and electro.
