You Are Not Alone
«We’re born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we’re not alone.» Orson Welles
In «You Are not Alone», the enfant terrible of British performance and cabaret scene is up to something rather simple: Kim Noble is trying to make friends. Sounds pretty innocent but it isn’t. He transgresses way too many intimate boundaries and uncovers secrets of strangers you did not want to know. He stalks the man at the checkout of the grocery store, calls numbers he finds in grubby motorway restrooms, he is relentless in order to get over his lonelyness for a short moment in time. The fact that he uncovers the depth of human vulnerability in a comical way makes this piece a touching and terribly funny experience.

«Just How annoying is Kim Noble?» NY Times
Kim Noble, performance and video artist, is well known and pretty controversial in Britain, he won the Perrier-Award with the comedy duo Noble and Silver and was nominated for the BAFTA. He did guest appearances with the cult series Mighty Boosh and Garth Marenghis Darkplace. «You Are not Alone» is his first performance in Switzerland.
