Antes
«Antes» is the first part of a trilogy called «Distância» that is about the history of humankind and about individual and collective destiny. The third part was called «Sideway Rains» in 2010 and the second part of the trilogy was called «Iyouhesheitweyouthey (Jetuilnousvousils)».

In «Antes» we are faced with a group of naked bodies that are beaming with energy, strength, and life. A cluster of atoms, a bunch of tendons and ligaments, muscles and skin. A human forest, the feet rooted in the ground. Their organic nature is widespread, but they are isolated and develop in a habitat by themselves. Each of them keeps his uniqueness although fears, needs or wishes are much the same. They turn, swirls their branches, but they never touch. If an unexpected accident occurs, it changes the order of
things.
