Daniel Hellmann (born 1985) is a dance- and theatermaker, singer and performer. He is based in his hometown Zurich as well as in Berlin and studied philosophy, classical singing and theatre / performance in Zurich, Lausanne and Bern. Daniel Hellmann is currently working on his new production «Requiem for a Piece of Meat», that premieres in March 2017 at Gessnerallee. This BodyWalk is also an insight in his actual work for the new production. http://www.daniel-hellmann.com

As a warm-up to the festival, it's possible to participate in BodyWalks. These walks through the city are guided by artists, who will share their research, observations, or discoveries of everyday life. These insights can be surprising or informative, dealing with such issues as: What is normal and what is not? How do bodies communicate with each other? How societal are our bodies? What is attractive, crazy, or shameless? How much tuning can the body take?
Duration of walks: approx. 1 - 1.5 hours, free
