«deus in machina» is a scenographic production, which takes place at an industrial architecture site, which is unique regionally: the Gasometer [gas tank] in Schlieren. The site-specific installation creates an atmospheric experience in between the history of technology and myth in the interior of the machine. Traveling from Altstetten, visitors journey to this modern archeological setting at the periphery of the city and enter a world with a technological life of it’s own created through sound and scenography.
Access can be booked every thirty minutes at the indicated times.
The installation is not barrier-free and being sure-footed is a precondition for visiting the site.
