In Simon Mayer's new play Oh Magic, the robots and performers begin their journey in the world of theatrical and technological magic with forcefully controlled ecstasy. In search of a symphonic harmony of performance, dance, music, sound, robotics, lighting, and visual art, we become witnesses of a live concert in which the genre boundaries increasingly blur. Futuristic fantasies merge with the magic of the theatrical and thereby also address our double-edged relationship with robotics and technology.
