Woods are mythical places. Like botanical gardens and green houses, they host research into plants and serve as repositories for their memories. Here we witness primal movements as well as previously unheard rhythms. Here Emilia Giudicelli invites us to join her laboratory «Trans:plant Y» to perform a metaphorical choreography. Together we undertake a transplantation. We use our bodies and minds to transfer the woods into our movements and thoughts – figuratively, but also quite literally. We open up to fresh cognition and search for new practices. Will we find a truly pure artistic form?
