Under the Influence III
After two beautiful, bizarre evenings in the spring and summer of 2018, in cold November the third and–for the time being–last part of the performance series Under the Influence by Phil Hayes will be shown at the Gessnerallee. In each piece of the series Hayes explores the phenomenon of exerting influence. In 2018, he has been working with different partners: in April, with performer Maria Jerez; in June, with multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Sarah Palin; and now, in November, with himself, as solo performer. The third part of the series follows the same principles as those of the first and second parts: three weeks rehearsal and two shows. In the process, absolutely anything can happen! Our heating is running.
Phil Hayes is a performance artist, actor, and musician. He regularly produces his internationally touring theatrical works at the Gessnerallee Zürich and also often collaborates with other artists and groups such as Forced Entertainment, Simone Aughterlony, and many others.
