mercimax travels together around the sun with exoplanet researcher Caroline Dorn and various artists. To accomplish the journey, they meet with their fellow travelers on four days marking the turn of the seasons and wander through the night looking at the starry sky, sitting by the fire, enjoying the charms of the finite world, and contemplating about time, space, and the inconceivable existence of humanity on a small blue planet somewhere in the universe.

After two stormy autumn and winter encounters, we will meet again on the spring equinox on March 21, 2019, and head back under the stars. New fellow travelers are welcome.

Wear sturdy shoes and weatherproof clothing. Return time & location: no later than midnight, Gessnerallee.
The night walk will take place in any weather. It includes a bus ride and hike and is therefore not wheelchair accessible.
