Perhaps all the Dragons
«Perhaps all the dragons in our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us act just for once with beauty and courage. Perhaps everything that terrifies us is in its deepest essence just something helpless that wants help from us.»
Rainer Maria Rilke
The Belgian artist group BERLIN has met around the world with people behind the stories in magazines, newspapers, web magazines, or YouTube: The famous pianist realizes onstage that she has prepared the wrong concerto; a neurosurgeon swaps the heads of two monkeys; or, a Japanese hikikomori, has confined herself for seven years in her own bedroom.
About such private choices with big impacts, thirty episodes are told by the protagonists on thirty screens positioned at a round table. Each viewer follows an individual parcourse, which results in a personal dramaturgy, although all viewers sit together at the same performance.
