Peer Gynti nga Kosova

Qendra Multimedia

Full of hope for a better life and longing for happiness, Peer Gynt leaves Kosovo. He dreams of a better future in the «paradise» called Western Europe. But then much of what happens to him reflects the experience of many young desperados who leave their homelands in despair, yet full of aspirations. Humiliated by the authorities, socially isolated, homesick, and lacking any perspective, his dream turns into a nightmare.

In his adaptation of the Nordic drama Peer Gynt, author Jeton Neziraj provides discomforting insights into the reality of the politics of European migration.
