mercimax travels together around the sun with exoplanet researcher Caroline Dorn and various artists. To accomplish the journey, they meet with their fellow travelers on four days marking the turn of the seasons and wander through the night looking at the starry sky, sitting by the fire, enjoying the charms of the finite world, and contemplating time, space, and the inconceivable existence of humanity on a small blue planet somewhere in the universe.

After our autumn, winter, and spring walking tours, we will meet again on the shortest night of the year on 21 June 2019, and head back under the starry heavens. New fellow travelers are welcome.

The night walk will take place in any weather. It entails a bus ride and walking tour and is therefore not accessible by wheelchair.
