Within the framework of celebrating our 30th anniversary, the five-part series Future Clinic for Critical Care will focus on places like the actual Gessnerallee. Together with the audience, a cultural institution of the future will be envisioned. How can such institutions create a space for being concerned, taking care, and access, and how can we ensure that these institutions are crip and queer?

The term institution itself is a very complex term, not only for people with disabilities but also for people with illnesses, because institutions have always been able to and still do marginalize persons whose bodies and / or psyche do not conform to the norm. The terms «taking care» or «being concerned» also have different meanings depending on the perspective from which they are used. How can we talk about taking care and being concerned in cultural institutions while recognizing the different stories and meanings of these concepts?

The FCCC celebrates the last part of its series with a loud «Hurray!» in which institutions are explored and changed from crip and queer perspectives through black humor, pop culture, drag, and magical games.

With Jeremy Wade, Nina Mühlemann, Edwin Ramirez, Brandy Butler, Lulzim Plakolli, Ivy Monteiro, Noemi Lakmaier, Emily Magorrian and others

Afterparty
The FCCC afterparty is a sex positive and body positive, queer and alternative party. Queer does not only mean lesbian, gay, bi, trans, inter or nonbinary – queer is rebellious: Queer is an alternative culture, at the margins of society and against the heterosexist, capitalist and white norm. Sex positive means creating an erotic and safe space for LGBTQIA* people.

The afterparty is a mini festival in itself, that showcases queer and kinky artists on stage and it creates a safe space for the kinky-queer community. All genders and all bodies are welcome. The dresscode for the afterparty is: futuristic-industrial, neo(n)-institutional, cyborg-erotic or naked.
