The Deconstruction of Death
Being conceived – live – die. These are the three pillars of our being which we, naturally, cannot avoid. Nevertheless, we spend the bigger part of our lives blocking out our mortality instead of integrating it as a creative factor into our existence. It is about time to change this according to kraut_produktion. Since the helpless attempt to master the black whole at the end by ignoring it only fosters the latent existential crisis of our lives. Our capacity to suppress death again and again is not a way of dealing with it. On the contrary. Therefore it is time to come face to face with death, so to speak, and to wrest its destructive passivity from it. In order to develop a feeling for what lies ahead of us and for who we actually were when we still existed. Who we would have been before we wouldn’t be anymore. A glimpse into the kaleidoscope of existence. Anticipatingly retroactive, sort of.
«The Deconstruction of Death» digs out death and brings it into the limelight thereby translating its radically life-affirming qualities. Along the lines of «Is that all there is? Yes it is, but we simply don’t accept it!»
