I enter the labyrinth,
Of the vibrating facts in front of my body.
I sing their surface;
The textures of each are my nests for the night.
I am happy to sense you around;
And then I can taste time.
Faithfully.
«(To) Come and See» is both a collective and a personal investigation of the uncanny and the erotic and their relations to each other. Five dancers set out on a choreographic parcours through their own body biographies which they search for unknown or unseizable aspects while exposed to the strangers’ gaze. Subtle shifts in perspective, desire and attraction between performers and audience invite both sides to lose themselves and maybe find each other that way. A space is created in which the intimacy and insecurity between artists and audience can actually occurr and be shared as a sensuous experience.
